I'm currently stuck on an update that says it's "customizing features for you. You're 100% there. Please keep your computer on." It's been over an hour now, and I've tried restarting a few times but that hasn't helped. I really need to study and can't afford to let this update drag on for too long. My setup includes a Ryzen AI 9 with 64GB of RAM, and the last update was either in June/July or January of last year.

It's possible your update is just hanging during the reboot process, and it might actually load up fine if you give it a bit more time. I had a similar situation where my Windows hung for over 8 hours overnight, and when I restarted, it came back up without needing a repair. It can really vary depending on your setup, but there’s a chance it might still complete itself if you leave it long enough. Keep your fingers crossed!
I totally feel your pain! This makes me reconsider my choice of Windows over Mac too. It can be so frustrating how often Windows has these issues.
