I'm looking to upgrade my desktop gaming PC because I'm having trouble running certain games due to what I think is an outdated CPU. I've had this system since 2020 and it's served me well, but it's definitely time for an upgrade. I'm open to doing changes one part at a time and I'm also unsure about which full-size case to choose. I have a budget of $300 to start. Here's a bit about my setup:

- **Case Size:** Full size
- **CPU:** 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700F, 2100 MHz, 16 cores
- **Motherboard:** ASUSTEK PRIME Z790-P WIFI D4
- **System Type:** 64-bit operating system
- **Edition:** Windows 11 Home
- **Graphics Card:** Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 - 8GB
- **RAM:** 16GB DDR4-3200 RGB
- **Storage:** 1TB NVMe SSD

Honestly, I think there’s a misunderstanding. Your CPU isn't the issue here. It still supports newer graphics cards well. I’d suggest looking at something like the Radeon RX 9060 XT. It’ll give you a nice boost for your games, especially with its 16GB VRAM. But it may be above your $300 budget, so saving a bit longer could be wise.

Your CPU, the 13700F, isn't as outdated as you might think since it came out in 2022. It can definitely still keep up for a little while longer. But if you're set on upgrading, I’d recommend looking at a new GPU. The RTX 5060 Ti (16GB if you can find it for a good price) would offer a solid performance bump. If you're on a tight budget for now, just try getting at least the 8GB version.

Yeah, I'd consider saving a bit more for the GPU. The RTX 5060 Ti would be a better investment for your gaming needs.
