I just finished a JavaScript course by Jonas, and I'm planning to solidify my knowledge by building an app over the next few months. After that, I'll tackle his React course and convert that app to React. I've been using AI to ask questions during my learning process, and it's really helped me get a grip on the concepts. But just building that app has been the main learning experience for me! If you’re not looking to get a job but just want to build skills, focusing on hands-on projects is key.
It depends on your prior coding experience. If you’re totally new to coding, I’d suggest starting with vanilla JavaScript. But if you're already comfortable with programming concepts, feel free to dive straight into a framework. For me, jumping into a project after a basic intro always works best. I also keep the official tutorials on hand to refer to while I’m building.
