I'm dealing with some random shutdowns on my Minisforum HX99G mini PC, and I believe a specific setting in the BIOS could help resolve this. Unfortunately, I can't seem to access the BIOS using any method. Here's what I've tried so far:
- Pressing F7 only briefly shows the boot menu before the PC restarts.
- Hitting the delete key brings up a gray BIOS screen, but again, it restarts before I can make any changes.
- I attempted to use the Advanced Recovery option, but it just reboots instead of loading the recovery menu, directing me back to Windows.
- Even the command prompt method with shutdown /r /fw doesn't work as expected.
- I've also tried updating the BIOS directly from Windows and even reset it using the CMOS reset button, but nothing seems to change.
I also ran a memory test, and to my surprise, there were no issues detected, and the test completed without rebooting.

You could try holding down the appropriate key (like F7 or delete) right after turning the PC on, before any logo appears. Sometimes timing can be tricky!
It sounds frustrating! Have you tried disabling Fast Startup? That feature can speed up boot times but might interfere with accessing BIOS. You can find instructions online on how to turn it off in Windows 11.
Just a heads up, messing with BIOS or disk settings can risk data loss, so make sure you've backed up anything important first.
