How to bypass user credential prompt on fresh Windows install?

Hey everyone! I just did a fresh install of Windows and now I'm trying to use winget in PowerShell with admin rights, but it's asking for user credentials. The thing is, I didn't set any usernames or passwords during the installation since I wasn't connected to the internet. Is there a way to resolve this issue? Any help would be appreciated!

When you get that prompt asking for credentials, try clicking OK without entering anything. Sometimes it can bypass the issue, but if it doesn't work, you might need to enter the Microsoft account details you used during the setup. If you didn't use one, it can complicate things a bit. Make sure you're not connected to the internet next time you install if you want to avoid this!

Unfortunately, I can't click OK without entering anything—it just doesn't allow that.

Since you mentioned disconnecting the Ethernet during installation, it's likely you skipped the Microsoft account setup. You might need to create a local user account to continue. Check if you can access the settings and add a new user or reset your credentials through the recovery options. Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll give that a try and see if I can get it sorted out.
