I recently tried logging into my Microsoft account on my computer, but it asked for my PIN, which I can't remember. When I selected the 'forgot my PIN' option, a pop-up appeared blank and then closed on me. I'm looking for advice on how to successfully change my PIN. After a bit of troubleshooting, I can now access the login, but the window closes before I can complete the text verification. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It sounds like there might be a glitch with the app or your computer’s settings. You could try resetting your PIN from a different device or browser just to see if that works. Sign into your Microsoft account and look for the Security section, then navigate to Advanced Security Options. You should be able to reset your PIN from there if everything is working right.
I currently don't have Microsoft set up on my phone or any other devices—just my computer. I tried signing into the Microsoft website but couldn’t find any advanced options, just account details and devices under the security tab.
