I'm having a bit of a challenge with our WhatsApp setup for our website. We created a new WhatsApp number, and while everything works fine, the display name was initially set as "Company Name test." Although the name has been edited to remove the 'test' part, we're still seeing an issue. There's an exclamation mark next to the message stating, "The new display name 'XYZ' has been approved. Register your number to start using it." This has been stuck like this for a few weeks now, and I haven't had any luck getting help from Meta's support, as it's just a cycle of chatbots. Any advice on how to force the name change?

Have you checked the status of your numbers in the WhatsApp Manager? You can log in at business.facebook.com/wa/manage and navigate to the WhatsApp manager, then phone numbers under account tools. If it shows your number as connected, that's good, but it sounds like the name is still stuck because of that approval message. If it's tied to the API and you can't unlink it, you may need to start fresh. But first, see if there's an option to resolve it in the manager.
The number status is indeed connected and highlighted in green. The problem is just with the name showing that exclamation mark and the approval message. We only want to get rid of that 'test'.
