How to Completely Remove Programs from Windows, Like Origin?

I'm trying to delete Origin from my Lenovo laptop since I never use it and it's taking up a lot of space. My laptop is getting older, so I really need to free up some storage. However, every time I try to delete the folder, I get an error saying that some files or folders are still in use, even though nothing is open on my end. Can anyone guide me through the steps to forcefully delete this program? I'd also appreciate any tips on how else I can make some extra space!

Just a heads up, if you've been manually deleting program folders before, it might be leaving leftovers that mess up your system. Try using a dedicated uninstaller software like Revo Uninstaller to remove those stubborn programs completely. If you keep facing issues, consider doing a Fresh Start through Windows Recovery to clean up your system.

First off, you should try uninstalling it properly using the Control Panel or Settings menu instead of just deleting the folder. Sometimes, just a simple reboot can help clear up any processes that are keeping files locked. If you've already tried that, you might want to check out this Microsoft guide on uninstalling apps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/uninstall-or-remove-apps-and-programs-in-windows-4b55f974-2cc6-2d2b-d092-5905080eaf98.

Sounds like something is still running in the background. Check your startup programs in Task Manager and disable any that are related to Origin. After that, restart and try deleting the folder again. As a last resort, if nothing else works, you could consider booting into a Linux environment to delete it, but that's kind of a hassle! Also, make sure to regularly clean your laptop to prevent overheating and other issues.
