I'm currently booted into Linux and I want to completely wipe out my Windows installation. Is this a safe process? Which partitions should I be looking to delete?

Honestly, if you’re ready to ditch Windows, I’d recommend backing up your data and just wiping the whole drive. I’ve gone through several installs of Linux myself, and I made it a fun process—install the OS, take a snapshot with Timeshift, get VirtualBox up and running, take another snapshot. Kind of like a little project! It’s rewarding and you'll get a clean slate.
It sounds like you're aiming to move away from Windows completely. Make sure you back up any important data first! To wipe Windows, you'll probably need to delete its partitions, which typically include the primary NTFS partition and possibly the recovery partition. Just be careful and ensure you know which partitions are safe to delete before proceeding.
