I'm using Kubuntu 25.10 with the default UFW firewall setup. My current incoming policy is set to ignore while outgoing is allowed. I haven't added any rules yet, but when I try hosting a game on Hytale, my friends can't join due to a restricted NAT, even though UPnP is enabled on my router. I've figured out that the issue lies with the UFW firewall since my friends can join without any problems when I disable it. I want to keep my firewall active, though, so what should I do to host the game successfully? I've found some commands to adjust UFW settings:
1. `sudo ufw allow from 192.168.1.x` to trust my router's private network IP.
2. `sudo ufw allow 5520/udp` to open the game port.
I just want some confirmation that these commands are correct before making any changes to my firewall.

I don't think the router is the main problem here since your friends can join when the firewall is off. The commands you found look good! Just be sure to replace '192.168.1.x' with your actual router IP. That way, you'll allow the local network through the firewall while keeping it active for other connections.
You definitely need to allow the game port with UFW. In addition to that, check your router settings for port-forwarding. Sometimes, just allowing the port in your firewall isn't enough. You might also want to set up port-forwarding from the router side as a backup just in case! It's good to ensure that your friends can always join without issues.
