I'm building my first PC and I'm trying to figure out the best way to connect my CPU fan's ARGB. Here's my current setup: I have three ARGB fans connected to an ARGB hub, and I have one CPU air cooler that also has a 3-pin ARGB. Currently, the CPU fan's ARGB is connected to the JARGB_V2_1 on the motherboard, while its power (4-pin with PWM) is connected to the CPU_FAN1. The ARGB hub is connected to JARGB_V2_2 and has its power connected to SYS_FAN1. However, I can only control the lighting of the case fans with the remote. I'd like to be able to control the CPU fan's ARGB lighting alongside the case fans. My questions are: Will just plugging the CPU fan's 3-pin ARGB into the ARGB hub allow control? Should I also connect the CPU fan's power to the hub, and if so, should the hub power remain connected to SYS_FAN1 or be moved to CPU_FAN1? Hope this isn't too convoluted, and thanks in advance!

Remember that the fan and the ARGB are separate functionalities. You still want your CPU fan connected to the CPU header for proper cooling, while the CPU fan's ARGB can go into the hub. So definitely connect that ARGB to the hub for control.
You definitely want to keep your CPU cooler's power connected to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. This is important for monitoring the temperature and adjusting the fan speed accordingly. As for the ARGB part, trying to connect the CPU fan’s ARGB to the RGB hub should work, but if it doesn’t respond, nothing is lost. Just make sure the fan is powered correctly for the cooling!
Thank you! I thought the same about the CPU_FAN header but wanted to confirm to avoid any mishaps. Appreciate it!
Sweet! Thanks for the confirmation and the quick response!
