I recently added voice service to my internet plan and now I need to connect my cordless phone to the broadband router. The catch is that the router is in one room, while the phone's base station is in another room, and I can't run an Ethernet cable between them. Setting the base station in the same room as the router isn't an option either. I'm wondering if there are alternative solutions like using a WiFi access point or powerline adapters to make this work?

It looks like you have a couple of solid options! Powerline adapters could definitely do the trick, especially if you have a good electrical wiring setup. They can send your internet signal over the electrical lines in your home, allowing you to place the phone base where you need it without cables everywhere. A WiFi access point configured as a bridge is also a good idea if you have decent WiFi reception in that area. Just make sure to check the setup for the specific phone model.
I agree with TechGuru! The TP-Link AV2000 Powerline Adapters would work well, especially since you’ve mentioned good reception. They can provide a stable connection without needing extra cables sprawled around. Just plug one adapter in near the router, connect it with Ethernet, and then plug the second adapter in near your phone. It’s a neat and clean solution!
