I recently bought a prebuilt PC from HP and I've come across some software, like the HP Analytic Service, that's causing performance problems. The issue is that this software keeps reinstalling itself and tricks Windows into thinking it's a legitimate hardware driver. I've looked into my options, but it seems that truly fixing this might require a new motherboard. So far, I've considered disabling Windows Update (which isn't ideal), creating a batch file to regularly kill the processes (also not great for performance), or forcefully removing the software—but then it just returns when I update Windows. Is there anything I'm missing that could help resolve this?

Have you checked Task Scheduler? Sometimes tasks re-trigger reinstalls of problematic software. Also look in Services to see if one of those services is running.
You might want to consider completely wiping and reinstalling Windows. But just a heads up, if it really behaves like a hardware driver, that may not resolve the issue.
A good approach would be to disable any HP services in Windows Services, and also prevent those drivers from getting updates. Alternatively, installing a Linux distro could help you escape HP's bloatware entirely.
Do you happen to know the model of your prebuilt? Sometimes there are specific workarounds or advice based on the exact model.
