I'm currently transitioning to SmartDeploy for our reimaging process after my company was acquired. We primarily use laptops for audio-visual purposes, which often requires outputting at unique resolutions or refresh rates. To get the full range of options in the NVIDIA Control Panel, we generally disable the integrated graphics on our machines. While some laptops have a BIOS setting for this, many do not. Since we own a fleet of several hundred laptops across various models, managing this manually for each machine could be tedious.
Previously, I managed to pre-configure software like NVIDIA Control Panel using drive images, but with SmartDeploy's sysprep, that became a bit trickier. I successfully integrated a config bin file post-install for the NVIDIA Control Panel, but now I'm facing difficulty with our new MSI laptops where the option to disable the iGPU is only available through MSI Center. I'm not necessarily looking for a direct solution; rather, I want a process to determine where MSI Center saves this configuration, so I can create a script to transfer the required settings from our SmartDeploy server.

For our setups, we always opt for machines equipped with advanced Optimus and hardware-specific mic chips. If we encounter models that lack discrete graphics options in BIOS, I use CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) to manage EDIDs effectively. That said, the functionality can still be limited based on drivers and features like resizable BAR support.
