How to Display Power BI Reports on a TV Without Re-authentication?

I'm looking for a way to display a Power BI report on a TV screen without using any additional mini PCs—just the TV itself. Currently, I access the report by opening the TV's browser and selecting a link from my favorites, but it often prompts me to re-authenticate when I log in to my Power BI account. Is there any method, possibly through Conditional Access, that would allow me to avoid these frequent re-authentications?

Another option is to use Rise Vision to push Power BI dashboards to the display. The authentication timeout is a separate issue, but there are guides available to help you set it up, like this one [here](https://help.risevision.com/hc/en-us/articles/25529563620116-Show-a-Microsoft-PowerBI-Dashboard). It might just do the trick!

You could consider building a custom internal application using App Embedding instead of the standard iframe. This way, you could use a service principal with the necessary SDK, ensuring that the internal web app is only accessible to authorized users. It’s a bit more work, but it can streamline the process.

We use a tool called ScreenCloud which operates on a small device similar to a Raspberry Pi. It's great for displaying various media, including Power BI dashboards. This setup could help sidestep the issues you're facing.

Honestly, the re-authentication issue is more about the limitations of the TV's browser than Power BI itself. Those browsers often have less RAM and quickly clear cookies, which leads to login prompts. While a mini PC could run it better, you might want to just accept that it won't be as smooth on a smart TV. It's not ideal, but it’s the reality with using Power BI on a device that isn’t a full PC.
