I have a hard drive that's partitioned, and I'm running low on space on my main C: drive. I'm really concerned about not losing any of my data on C:, but I don't care about what's on the D: drive. Can I safely extend the C: drive without risking my data? Alternatively, is it possible to just remove the D: partition entirely without affecting anything on C: drive?

To help you out, I'd need to see the partition layout to give you better advice. Knowing how everything is arranged can make a big difference in your decision.
You should definitely be able to extend your C: drive, but just make sure to back up your important files just in case. Removing the D: partition should also work fine since you don’t need that data. Just use a partition management tool to do it safely.
