I work at a school where we're using iPads for our students, and we need to log them into a school iCloud account. They can still use their personal accounts to download apps at home. However, I'm having trouble with one student's account. When we try to log in, it asks for a 2FA code to be sent to his phone. The problem is, the phone number format appears to be in US style (like 222-222-etc.), while our format in Denmark is 22 22 22 22. This issue persists across different devices, and entering his number results in an error saying it's not a valid number, even though we can confirm the number format is correct according to the settings. Has anyone else encountered this issue and know why the number format is incorrect?

Do you have the exact phone number that’s requested? Knowing the last digits might help figure out the issue better.
Have you tried entering the number with the international code +45 in front? That can sometimes help with the format issue.
Make sure that the iPad's region is set to Denmark and the language is set to Danish. Just being in Denmark doesn’t always mean the settings are correct.
