How to Fix a PC Case Blocking GPU Ports?

I'm having some trouble with my PC case blocking the GPU ports. I can only access three of the openings, but the one I need to get to, which is right above the highest available slot, is completely solid. I can't seem to change how my motherboard is installed either. Does anyone have tips on how to open this section or find a workaround? Unfortunately, I can't attach photos directly for reference.

Seriously, check the pictures you uploaded. If the slots look like they have a slight score line, you just need to bend them out. Otherwise, yes—investing in a decent case can save you a lot of hassle in the future!

In most decent cases, the PCIe slot covers are removable. But in budget cases like yours, they can be part of the solid rear panel. If they're not cutting through completely due to wear or paint filling in the gaps, you might need to go at them with a bit of force or get some basic tools involved. If all else fails, consider reaching out to the manufacturer for a replacement!

Yeah, it’s a classic budget case issue. If you can’t get it off easily, a power tool might be your best bet.

It sounds like you need to break off the metal slot covers that are blocking the GPU ports. You can usually do this by hand if they're just partially punched out, but sometimes they can be tough to remove. If it's really stuck, a flathead screwdriver might help you pry them off.

Make sure to remove the motherboard and other components first, though! It’ll give you a bit more room to work.
