I recently installed Linux Mint on a Surface Pro 6 for my mom, and she's been enjoying it. However, she's having trouble with the camera not working in the Zoom app, even though it works fine in the Cheese application. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Great tip! Also, make sure to check which browser you're using if you're accessing Zoom through it. If you're not, downloading the desktop app directly from Zoom's website might help. Here’s a link to their support page that could guide you on that: [Zoom Support](https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0063458#h_adcc0b66-b2f4-468b-bc7a-12c182f354b7). You might get better results with the app instead of the browser.
It sounds like your Surface Pro might have two cameras. You could try starting an empty Zoom meeting and check the video settings. In there, you should see a drop-down menu for selecting the camera. Sometimes, Zoom doesn’t default to the right one, so it might not be set correctly. I ran into a similar issue with Linux on Chromebooks which also had dual cameras, and this really helped me out!
I have two cameras, but I can't pick either in Zoom settings; the box is grayed out.
I am using the Zoom app and not the browser.
