How to Fix Missing Wi-Fi Option on My Windows Laptop?

I've run into a frustrating issue where the Wi-Fi option has completely disappeared from my Windows laptop. I was trying to troubleshoot and noticed a device called 'RZ616 Wi-Fi 6E' in Device Manager. To try fixing it, I uninstalled it, but now I can't even find the Wi-Fi option anymore despite scanning for hardware changes. I'm left with no internet access at all, even a hotspot. Also, Norton is preventing the driver installer from working. What are my options to reinstall the Wi-Fi driver without an internet connection? My laptop model is MSI Bravo15c7v.

Honestly, I'd recommend getting rid of Norton, as it can be quite troublesome with driver installations. You can download the Wi-Fi driver on your smartphone, transfer it to your laptop via USB, and then install it. That usually bypasses the problem of needing an internet connection.

Also, keep an eye on Windows Updates. Sometimes, updates can mess with drivers. If you recently updated, you might want to roll it back using the Windows recovery options. Just be sure to hold the Shift key while restarting to access the recovery menu.

It sounds like your laptop's Wi-Fi switch might be turned off. Many laptops have a physical switch or a function key combination that can disable Wi-Fi. Check around the edges of your laptop or try pressing the Fn key along with the appropriate function key. You might just need to toggle that back on!

Yeah, that could be it. If that doesn’t work, check your settings to make sure that Wi-Fi isn’t disabled in Device Manager.
