I have a Windows 10 laptop that's solely personal, yet it shows as managed by an organization. I haven't set up any work accounts or changed any settings, but I recently found some harmful files which I quarantined and deleted using MalwareBytes. Unfortunately, this hasn't solved the problem of my Google account being listed as managed by an organization. I can't seem to find any organizational settings in my device's settings. Can anyone provide some guidance on this?

Try uninstalling Chrome completely and then reinstall it. Make sure to delete all folders related to Chrome after you uninstall it. I did this for a client whose browser was hijacked, and it worked for them! Also, don't forget to check for any suspicious extensions that might be lingering around.
If you're having trouble after reinstalling Chrome, and it feels like nothing has changed, look into deleting any leftover files manually. You can usually find Chrome data in your AppData folder. Just make sure you really wipe everything before you reinstall.
Thanks for the tips! I'll try that out, but I'm not familiar with checking the AppData folder. Could you explain how to find it?
