I'm having trouble with my iPhone being stuck in recovery mode after trying to downgrade from iOS 16 to iOS 18. I encountered an error during the process, and none of the third-party apps I tried have worked to resolve it. Should I take it to an Apple Store for help or would visiting a carrier store like Verizon be a good option?

I suggest heading to the Apple Store. They have the specialized tools that only Apple can use for situations like this. Just make sure to book a Genius Bar appointment, and you might need to spend a few hours there, or possibly leave your phone with them to get it sorted out.
Could I take it to a place like Verizon instead?
