I'm having some trouble with my MacBook Air, which keeps showing a flashing question mark. I've tried booting into recovery mode and using Disk Utility, but it says it can't eject the disk. The only option I see is 'OS X base,' and unfortunately, I can't reinstall El Capitan because it doesn't detect the internal drive. When I ran First Aid, I got these results: disk0s1 is writable no, can be repaired yes, bootable no, and it's showing some capacity stats. I don't have a Time Machine backup; there's not much data on it, but I'm hoping I can avoid losing anything. Based on those numbers, do I have a chance? Any advice? Thanks!

If you can, try using another Intel Mac to create a bootable drive. There's an article that lays out the steps; it might be your best bet!
If you're struggling to reinstall, I found a useful support article that might help you out. Definitely worth checking out!
What model of MacBook Air are you dealing with? Knowing the specifics can help figure out what steps to take next.
Instead of the regular recovery command, try booting with CMD + Option + R. It should load Monterey instead. Also, check if the internal drive pops up when you do that.
It's the A1465 from early 2015.
