How to fix my problematic ASUS TUF Gaming laptop?

I've been having issues with my ASUS TUF Gaming F15 laptop, which I bought in 2021. It's got an Intel i5 10th gen processor, 8GB RAM, and GTX 1650. Starting in 2022, I've noticed it acting really weird. First, the WiFi would cut out randomly. Then I began getting blue screens during online games. Although those blue screen errors seemed to resolve themselves after a while, I've been struggling with horrible FPS ever since. I've tried stress tests and updated the graphics drivers multiple times, but nothing seems to work. To make things worse, sometimes my laptop shuts down even when the battery shows 100%. When I plug it back in, it claims the battery is at zero. I suspected a battery issue, but after taking it to a service center, they said the battery is fine. I've cleaned out dust and kept everything updated, yet these problems keep happening sporadically, making it hard to show to anyone for help. What's going on with my laptop?

It might be a slow breakdown. Keep an eye on the laptop’s temperature while gaming, and take notes on what you're doing each time you encounter an issue. That might help you connect some dots!

You should check out the Event Viewer for more clues on these errors. Head to Event Viewer, go to Windows Logs, and then System. The critical errors might show what's going wrong.

Have you taken a look at the RAM? Running a tool like memtest or the Windows memory diagnostic could help identify if that's part of the problem. Sometimes faulty RAM can cause all sorts of erratic behavior.

I did run the Windows memory diagnostic, and it came back fine. But now, my trackpad is acting up too, randomly clicking stuff! It's just frustrating how erratic everything is.

It sounds like you might need to start by checking the dump files for those blue screens. If you can access Windows, try looking in C:WindowsMinidump for crash logs. Those can really help in pinpointing the issue. If you have them, zip the folder and upload it to a file sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. The more dump files you have, the better for analysis!

It seems like a common issue with ASUS motherboards leading to blue screens. It could be a Windows compatibility problem too. Make sure to examine your integrated graphics as well. Also, consider cleaning the inside of your laptop to improve airflow. Good luck!
