How to Fix No Sound on Incoming Calls on My iPhone?

I'm experiencing an issue where I'm not getting any sound for incoming calls on my iPhone. I've tried adjusting the volume, turning my phone on and off, and playing around with the settings. I even toggled airplane mode, checked with and without headphones, and updated to the latest iOS. It seems like I can receive sound perfectly fine for music and other audio, but not for calls from the phone app, Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp. Has anyone else dealt with this, and what could be the problem?

It sounds like you've tried a lot of the basic troubleshooting steps already! Since you mentioned that sound works with other apps, it could be a specific setting affecting incoming calls. Make sure you check if 'Handoff' is enabled on your iPad. Sometimes devices can conflict with each other when it comes to call audio. If that doesn't help, it might be worth checking if the ring/silent switch on the side of your phone is on mute.

Have you tried checking if the speaker is actually working? If you can hear music and other media fine, then it might not be the speaker after all. It could be a software issue since Bluetooth settings can sometimes cause these sound issues too. Just in case, try toggling Bluetooth off and on once more.

This might sound crazy, but a lot of people forget to remove the plastic covering that comes on some new phones. I’ve seen a few cases where that was the reason people couldn't hear anything on their calls. Just double-check that! Also, if everything else fails, consider resetting your settings or contacting Apple support.
