Hey everyone! I'm having a tough time with my laptop, and I hope you can help me out. I'm getting these annoying blue screen errors (it isn't blue anymore, though!) that mostly say "UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION", but sometimes I see "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR" and "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED". The latest one was "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED". Each time it happens, I have to manually restart my laptop because it's stuck at 0% when collecting error info. I've done a bunch of troubleshooting steps: ran SFC/scannow, DISM, chkdsk, tested the RAM, and checked all my drivers and BIOS—everything seems to be up to date and passed the tests! I also installed CrystalDiskInfo which shows my SSD at 97% health, but BluescreenViewer can't find any mini dump files. Event Viewer indicated that dump file creation failed, and I found a corrupt dump file in the LiveKernelReports. Here are some specs on my laptop for reference:
- System SKU: LENOVO_MT_21EE_BU_Think_FM_ThinkPad E15 Gen 4
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 5425U
- Installed RAM: 16GB
- SSD: Intel SSDPEKNU010TZ, 1024GB
- Running Windows 11 Education 25H2
I mainly use this for schoolwork, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, definitely look closely at your storage setup. The "Unexpected_Store_Exception" combined with the failures to create dump files usually points to something going wrong with the SSD or the file system rather than a simple OS bug. It might save you a lot of headaches if you can back up your data and start fresh with a new SSD if needed!
It sounds like you're hitting some serious roadblocks with those BSoD errors! Since you mentioned you can't create dump files, it's often a sign that the storage drive is having issues. Have you checked your SSD's firmware for updates or tried running a comprehensive check on it? Sometimes the storage controller can also be at fault. Moving forward, consider looking into replacing your SSD if these issues persist; that's a likely culprit in these scenarios! Good luck!
When both BSoD and dump creation are failing, you're usually dealing with a storage subsystem issue. I would recommend running some diagnostics on your drive as a first step. If it's showing signs of failure, you might need to consider replacing it. Don't forget to backup your files regularly in case things escalate!
Sorry to hear you're going through this! The errors you are encountering are definitely red flags for faulty storage solutions. If you can, try running a health check on your SSD. If it starts showing failures, replacing it could very well solve the issue. Keep us posted!

Thanks for the tip! Do you think switching to a different SSD brand could make a difference?
