I'm going on vacation soon, and I need to access my home PC since my laptop isn't powerful enough for my tasks. I've set up Wake on LAN, and it works locally when my phone is connected to the Wi-Fi. However, despite configuring port forwarding and DDNS for my PC, I still can't get it to work remotely. Any advice on making this process reliable would be greatly appreciated!

I’m no expert, but it seems like NAT might be causing issues here. You might consider getting a small device like a Raspberry Pi that stays on, which you can remotely access to send the signal to wake your main PC. It might be a workaround worth exploring!
It sounds like you're having trouble with the port forwarding setup. You might want to check out some resources on setting that up because if it's not configured correctly, it could block your remote WoL signals. Double check that the ports you need are correctly redirected to your PC’s local IP.
That's a good point! I did set up both Minecraft servers on that PC and they worked fine, so I think my router supports the needed UDP and TCP packets. It’s just this Wake on LAN feature that seems to be the problem.
