I recently sent my ASUS TUF DASH F15 for repairs, and before it was sent away, I reset it to factory settings as instructed. After getting it back, I installed the necessary drivers, but started experiencing significant lags, with freezes lasting 3-5 seconds every 30 seconds to a minute. Thinking the issue was with the Windows installation, I decided to perform a clean install using a Windows Media Creation Tool USB. I completed the initial setup, chose my language, and formatted the drive (after disabling VMD in BIOS). However, during the installation, it fails around the 20% mark with an error saying, "Windows 11 Installation has failed," and then it reboots. I can confirm that UEFI recognizes the drive correctly. I cannot redownload the USB or ISO since I only have an Android. The laptop originally came with Windows 11, and I only have one SSD installed. VMD drivers are also marked as incompatible. I've tried turning off Secure Boot and adjusting other BIOS settings, but nothing seems to work.

Before diving into complex solutions, make sure you back up your data in case something goes wrong during attempts to resolve this. A good step would be to try installing a different operating system, like a Linux distro. This can help determine if the issue stems from hardware or software. Since Windows was previously working, it’s worth checking if a different OS behaves the same way.
I dealt with a similar installation issue, and it sounds like your USB drive might be the problem. I had trouble copying files and ended up formatting my USB in a different way. Just to be safe, I'd recommend getting a new USB drive to use for the installation. If you can’t get one immediately, testing with a different USB format through your phone might help, but not all setups will be compatible. It’s also a good idea to try and test the SSD in case that’s where the issue lies.
