How to Handle the Post-Project High?

Have you ever experienced that intense dopamine rush after completing a personal project? I recently had a fantastic presentation where my work was well received, and for about 1-2 weeks, I was riding this incredible high. I got so motivated that I even rewrote documentation for Node and C# in just two days! But now that I'm coming down from that high, I feel a bit lost and flat. I've been craving that next project and even posted on Facebook offering to develop web apps for others. For those of you who've been through this, how do you cope with the feeling of emptiness after such a rush? Do you take a break, or focus on smaller tasks or learning something new?

Oh, I totally get that post-project high! When the buzz fades, it’s completely normal to feel a bit flat. What I do is switch to some low-key tasks like reading, tinkering around, or learning new things without any rush. It helps reset my brain while still keeping the momentum going. Usually, the next big idea finds me when I'm not actively looking for it.

Thanks! I think I’ve been pushing too hard for an idea to pop into my head. I’ll definitely try some lighter tasks. Everything seems tougher when I’m not on that high, but I guess that’s just how it goes.
