How to Identify and Fix Fan Noise and Overheating Issues in My PC?

I've been dealing with this strange noise from what I think is the fan on my pre-built PC for a while now. I originally shrugged it off as normal, but a friend mentioned it's not a good sign. With summer approaching, my CPU has started to overheat despite my efforts to reposition the PC and keep windows open. I plan to open the PC case, but I'm not sure what specific things to look for or what I should avoid touching. I understand that dust buildup can be an issue, but I suspect one of the fans might be the main culprit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

To troubleshoot the noise, try the process of elimination with your fans. Disconnect each fan one at a time and run your PC to see if the noise persists. Just make sure to test it with all fans connected first to establish a baseline. This way, you can figure out if one particular fan is making the sound.

Should I leave the PC on after unscrewing a fan to test it, or is there a way to check at startup?
