I'm building a home server and I'm planning to upgrade my RAM from 2x4GB to 2x8GB based on my CPU specs. I'm looking at some used DDR3 RAM, but I'm not sure if there's a way to tell if a RAM stick is 4GB or 8GB just by looking at a photo. I have an example of what I'm considering, but the image isn't great quality. Can anyone give me tips on how to check this, or if the RAM's size is usually labeled? Also, is there any way to confirm if the RAM works without being physically present?

I can't see the image either, but yeah, typically there's a label that indicates the RAM's specs. If you're unsure, ask the seller for better pics or additional details. That can save you a hassle later on!
