Hey everyone! I'm really struggling with setting up my new HP laptop. I think I need to install the Wi-Fi driver, but I'm not very tech-savvy and could use some help. I downloaded what I believe is the right driver from the HP website using my old laptop. I transferred it to a flash drive, but when I plug it into my new laptop, the files don't show up. They appear just fine when I access the flash drive from my old laptop. Does anyone know why this might be happening or how I can resolve it?

Could you let us know the model of your HP laptop? Sometimes the driver file is in a specific format, like .exe, which needs to be run to extract it properly. If it's in a .zip file, you might need to extract the contents on your old laptop before transferring it to the new one. That might help make it visible.

It's a HP 14-dq 6000 series, and you're right, the driver file is .exe. I tried running it and extracting it directly on the laptop and flash drive, but there's still no sign of it showing up!
