How to Lower CPU Temperature While Watching Streams?

I've noticed that my CPU temperature spikes to around 50°C while I'm just watching streams on Twitch using Firefox. My setup includes a 7800x3D processor, and when I switch to another tab or do anything else, the temperature drops significantly to 26°C. Also, my GPU doesn't seem to be handling any of the load, which feels odd since I'm using hardware acceleration. Has anyone experienced this before, and do you have tips on how to bring those temperature spikes down?

Honestly, I've been hitting around 80-85°C while watching YouTube on my R5 9600X due to my fan settings. I don't stress about it too much as long as my CPU isn't throttling. It's pretty normal for devices to run hot while in use. Just keep in mind, laptops operate at higher temps like this all the time without issues.

50°C is actually a pretty standard temp for a desktop CPU, especially while streaming. It’s normal for your CPU to run warmer when in use compared to when idle. If you really want to cool it down, the solutions might depend on the specific hardware you're using.

You can't really prevent those temperature spikes; that's just how they are. However, you might want to consider underclocking your CPU or even limiting some cores in the BIOS if you want to keep things cooler.
