I'm a fan of MPC-HC's interface and features, but I'm struggling to get the same video quality as I do with VLC. When I use MPC-HC for the same video files, the image tends to look either washed out or pixelated, depending on the renderer I select. I'm currently using this specific fork of MPC-HC on my Windows 10 with a Ryzen 5600G. Any tips to achieve better video quality? Thanks in advance!

It's worth noting that some video files react differently to various renderers. If you find one renderer doesn't work well for a particular file, try another. Also, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date, as this can impact video playback quality, especially on a newer setup like yours.
If you're aiming for similar quality as VLC, try experimenting with the video renderer settings in MPC-HC. Switching between options like 'Madshi' and 'EVR' can make a significant difference in how the image is processed. Additionally, adjusting the color settings under 'Options' > 'Playback' might help you get closer to that VLC look. You'll want to play around a bit to find the sweet spot that suits your display.

Thanks for the tip! I'll check my drivers and experiment with the renderers.
