Hey everyone! I built a custom PC about a year ago, and I haven't had much time to use it lately. Due to some family reasons, I'm considering selling it, but I'm not sure how to determine a fair price or how hard it will be to sell. Here are the specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D
- GPU: Nividia Asus ROG Matrix 4090
- Mobo: X670E-A Gaming WIFI
- RAM: 2 x DDR4 3600 32GB
- Storage: 10TB HDD, 2TB NVME
- It's also water-cooled with 3 radiators (9 fans total).
I really loved building this PC, so it's tough to think about selling. I'd appreciate any advice!

As a small PC repair shop owner, I can tell you it might be a tough sell in the used market. Many people shy away from custom liquid cooling setups because they can be tricky to maintain. Sometimes it's better to keep it for when you have more time to enjoy it. Just a heads up, you might get a lot of lowball offers too!
You might want to check the PC Part Picker website to get an idea of current prices for each individual component. Then, compare those with what's available on the used market. Based on your specs, you won't get back everything you spent, but you could recover about 80% if you price it right!
Yeah, just make sure to be prepared for some low ball offers. It's a good idea to hold off for a while if you can.
Thanks for the advice! Do you think there's actually a market for it? I’m also curious if breaking it down into parts would be smarter, what do you think?
