I've noticed that the server names in my Hyper-V Manager are being cached weirdly. Some show up as NetBIOS names, others as IP addresses, and some are FQDNs. I've tried to remove and re-add these connections, but the names still seem to be stuck somehow. This has led to some certificate CN name mismatch errors as well. What can I do to fix this issue?

Honestly, Hyper-V Manager isn't the best tool for managing your servers. Consider using Windows Admin Center (WAC) or System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) for a more reliable experience. They tend to handle connections and server names better than Hyper-V Manager does.
It sounds like the problem might be DNS-related. Hyper-V Manager has its quirks with caching names. Make sure your DNS entries are all correct. Sometimes, it can help to flush the DNS cache on your client machine if you're still seeing old names sticking around.
