How to Safely Store My Electronics During a Cold Vacation?

Hi everyone! I'm going on a 12-day vacation soon, and since my house won't have heat, I'm a little worried about my electronics. I'll be leaving behind a gaming laptop and a handheld PC, and the indoor temperatures are expected to drop to around freezing, between -3 and -10 degrees Celsius at night. I'm wondering about the best way to protect these devices while I'm away. Should I keep them plugged in, or should I store them in their original packaging? Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Make sure you shut off the main water valve and let the taps run empty to avoid any pipe bursts. Your electronics should be fine as long as there's no flooding. Plus, your place will be colder than a fridge, which is good for food but watch out for the electronics—keep them dry!

I’m also cutting off the pump power and letting the pressure out since it’s not heated where the pipes are. I’ve never had frozen pipes, so I think I’m good!
