Hey everyone! I'm currently managing over 2,000 Linux VMs on VCD and vCenter, primarily running Ubuntu, Debian, and RHEL. I'm looking to establish a local repository so that I can update these machines without needing internet access. If anyone has experience with this type of setup or can suggest the best approach, I'd really appreciate it!

Another alternative you might consider is the Uyuni project. It's designed for this sort of thing and could do the job well.

Have you checked out the Foreman project with the Katello plugin? It's a pretty solid option for managing repositories locally. Just a heads-up, some users have mixed feelings about it, but it might be worth looking into.
