I'm looking to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform on Azure, and I want to integrate it with a GitLab pipeline. Has anyone here set up something similar? I'm open to advice or even looking for someone to do this as a short freelance project.

I've done this recently for a client with self-hosted GitLab. If you're serious about the freelance project, feel free to message me directly! I'm based in Germany and would love to help out.
If you're looking for an easier way, have you heard about the OpenTofu CI components? They work really well with GitLab for managing state and environments. You can get started by just spending a few hours reading the docs, and it should set you on the right path.
Honestly, for the cost of hiring someone, you might as well dive into the documentation yourself! Tools like GitHub Copilot can provide a ton of help too, making it easier to set things up without needing a freelancer. If you're keen on handling it yourself, that could save you some money.
