I recently bought a new laptop, but it doesn't have an operating system installed yet. I've tried installing one from a USB flash drive, but I'm running into an issue where the system can't detect the SSD during the installation process. Can anyone guide me on how to get it set up?

Just checking in, did you get a manual with the laptop? Some laptops have a specific way to enable the SSD in the BIOS. If it's brand new, it should have come with at least some instructions. Also, make sure that the BIOS is updated to the latest version.
If your laptop is brand new and not detecting the SSD, you may need to initialize the SSD before the OS installer can recognize it. You can use an NVME to USB adapter, connect the SSD to another computer, and then go to Disk Management to create a New Simple Volume. After that, put the SSD back in your laptop, and try the installation again.
It sounds like your laptop might be brand new but missing the SSD configuration. Sometimes, a new laptop is shipped without the OS if it's a custom build. Have you checked if the SSD is seated correctly? Also, if it's really brand new, it should boot with the OS. If it doesn't, I would recommend returning it to the store as it might have a hardware issue.
