I'm trying to set up my Samsung Sero 43 as a second monitor in vertical orientation for displaying a ranking table. The problem is that when I switch it to vertical, the display from my laptop doesn't fill the screen properly. It seems to get constrained to the center, similar to how 9:16 videos appear on a 16:9 screen, leaving large black bars on the sides. I've tried adjusting settings in Windows, but the only way to get it to display correctly is by rotating my laptop's view, and even then, it only works in duplicate mode.

You might need to adjust the settings in Windows to set your Samsung screen to horizontal and make sure you’re using the right pixel aspect ratio. Try switching to 1080x1920 for portrait mode, since 1920x1080 is more landscape. Remember that Windows is set up for horizontal screens, so it might not recognize your setup as easily.
If I switch it to horizontal, I just end up seeing the same screen with a wider layout instead of fixing the issue. I think the intrinsic rotation of the Samsung screen is the real problem here, because we did get the vertical layout working with an iPad.
