I've been a console gamer all my life and I'm now ready to take the plunge into building my own PC. I'm really lost and don't know where to start. Should I buy all the parts at once or can I purchase them individually? Also, how do I find out which parts are needed and compatible? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Check out pcpartpicker.com! It's a great resource for finding parts that are compatible and it also has price comparisons. It's easy to use, so dive in there!
Choose a case that you like because you'll want to ensure that all your components will fit. It’s key to start with something that resonates with your style and needs!
Make sure to watch a few PC building videos on YouTube—at least 2 or 3. Take your time with it; plan your budget and list the games you want to play. Research the hardware recommendations to get an idea of what you need.
Your budget will really shape your build. Check out Micro Center for some awesome bundles that include the CPU, motherboard, and RAM, which can save you a lot. Don't hesitate to ask around here; just share your budget, currency, and location so we can help you pick the best parts!
Spend some time on PCPP browsing their selection. It will help clear up a lot of questions you might have. Once you put together a list of parts, feel free to ask us for suggestions or improvements. Just make sure PCPP works in your country—I'm not sure if it's available in Canada!
Hopefully it works; I'm Canadian!

Wow, I didn’t realize it could be that simple!
