Hey everyone! I'm looking to break into the world of DevOps and have a solid IT background. However, I'm facing challenges due to limited opportunities in Morocco. I'm thinking of studying DevOps and possibly landing a remote internship with a foreign company or startup. I would really appreciate any advice on the best learning path, resources, or tips that might help me along this journey. Also, are there any chances of finding an internship or entry-level position in this field?

To start off, you should consider taking a networking course and getting comfortable with Bash. I recommend using Debian or Ubuntu and getting a VPS to experiment with. Setting up a multi-node cluster can be really helpful too, and you can use free resources like the GitHub Student Pack. Additionally, play around with Docker or Kubernetes, and make sure to install K9S to manage your clusters easily. Pick a cloud provider—AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud—and get to know their essential services. Look for infrastructure projects on GitHub, fork them, and try to improve them. If you're feeling unsure, getting a cloud certification might help. Good luck on your journey!
