How to Stop My Devices from Syncing Calls and Texts?

I've been trying to manage my devices, but I'm facing some issues with all of them syncing together. I own an iPhone, an iPad, and a Fitbit, and I've never wanted my iPad to handle calls and texts meant for my iPhone. However, recently I've noticed that I suddenly started receiving calls and texts on my iPad, which is really annoying. I prefer my Fitbit only to link with the Fitbit app on my iPad, but now all three devices are connected in ways I don't want. Can anyone guide me through how to fix this without any tech jargon?

You can easily turn off 'Calls on Other Devices' from your iPhone settings. Also, make sure to disable Automatic App Downloads so that your apps don’t get installed across devices without you wanting it. This will keep your iPhone and iPad’s Home Screens separate.
