I'm looking to make the switch from XFCE to KDE Plasma primarily for better Wayland support with my NVIDIA setup. I have a custom GTK theme that I really like, and I want to keep a similar look in KDE. Here are the specifics I'm hoping to achieve:
- Theming that matches my current setup: same colors, CSS styling, and icons.
- A start menu reminiscent of Whiskermenu.
- Reduced padding in the "Icons-Only Task Manager."
- Smaller applet icons and a smaller clock font.
- Arc-Blackest style window decorations with sharp corners.
- No animations at all.
Right now, I'm struggling because Plasma isn't reflecting my current icon theme for applets, and I'm unsure how to modify Plasma's CSS properties. Ideally, I'd like the appearance to be as close as possible to how Nobara looked when it was using Gnome as the default desktop environment. I can provide a screenshot if needed to illustrate what I'm aiming for!

Keep in mind that KDE uses QT for its applications, so your GTK theme won't carry over. Unfortunately, that means the Whiskermenu style also won't transfer directly. You might want to explore what default options KDE has that can be modified to make them resemble the Whiskermenu.”,
