I'm thinking about switching to Linux, but I only have integrated graphics from AMD—no dedicated GPU. I'm curious about how well Wayland works with integrated graphics on Linux. Is it stable and efficient?

I've got a Ryzen 9 with integrated graphics running on openSUSE Tumbleweed using GNOME, and it works great. Wayland seems to handle integrated graphics very well!
The drivers for AMD integrated graphics are essentially the same as those for their dedicated cards. I’ve tested it with a Vega 8 iGPU on Hyprland, and it worked without a hitch.
Wayland runs perfectly for me! I mainly use KDE Plasma with it, and everything is smooth.
I've been using my Intel integrated graphics on Linux for quite a while without any issues, so I’d say AMD should be in good shape too. Your view of Linux might be outdated if you think there are major problems.
AMD's integrated graphics perform similarly to their dedicated GPUs on Linux. Most modern integrated chips (from 2015 onwards) are well-supported by the AMDGPU driver, and the MESA drivers tend to work smoothly with AMD graphics.
