I have an HP Laptop 17-cp0004ds running Windows 11. Recently, my screen has become extremely zoomed in, making it almost unusable. This sudden issue happened overnight and I'm unsure what caused it. I've had this laptop since the summer of 2022, mainly using it for light tasks like some pixel games and basic internet browsing.
To try to fix it, I've attempted the zoom hotkey but that didn't help. I also reset my operating system, which I found instructions for online, but nothing changed. I've been searching YouTube for similar issues, but so far, no solutions have worked for me.
I'm considering taking it to a repair shop, but I'm a bit tech-savvy and would like to avoid that if possible. Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing the problem or if I should just bite the bullet and pay for repairs? Thanks in advance!

Can you share a picture of your screen so we can see how zoomed in it is? That might help everyone diagnose the issue better!

You can try pressing and holding the Ctrl key while hitting the 0 key. That should reset the zoom to 100%! Just a quick way to bring the screen back to normal.
If you mean that everything looks like it’s at a lower resolution, it could be a graphics card issue. Check the Device Manager for any errors, like a yellow triangle or issues with the listing.
You might want to check if changing your BIOS settings or disk setup has affected your display. Also, backing up your data before making any changes is a good idea! Remember to keep your FAQs in mind. But watch out for automated responses on forums—they can be misleading!
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll be sure to check these out once I'm done with work. I’ve also posted some pictures to clarify what I mean by "zoomed in."
Have you tried booting your laptop into BIOS to see if the zoomed-in effect persists there? Also, consider starting it in safe mode to see if that helps.
Sure! Here's a picture: [Image Link](https://preview.redd.it/6w8a6tt8cnff1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=57b74d4242788b44a35e1d010f8ea50430cc02ad)
