Hey everyone! I have a question about phone calls on iOS version 18.5. Usually, when someone blocks you, your call will only ring briefly before going straight to voicemail. However, I just called someone, and the phone keeps ringing like it would if they just didn't pick up. I strongly suspect that I'm blocked, but I'm confused by this ringing behavior. Is there a new update or change that could affect this? I've also noticed that texts might say 'delivered' even if you're blocked, so I'm wondering if calls work differently now?

From what I know, if you're blocked, your call usually rings once or twice before going to voicemail. But lately, some users have reported that calls can ring longer like normal, even if you’re blocked. So it might just be a quirk of this new iOS update. Definitely confusing!
Yeah, that makes sense. I had a similar experience. My calls rang longer, and I wasn’t sure if I was blocked or not.
