Hey everyone! I have a 4th Gen iPad Pro that I needed to put into DFU mode to try and revive it. After getting it into DFU mode and having my computer recognize it (with a blank screen), it took around 90 seconds or so to reboot with the Apple logo and progress bar, which seemed okay to me. But once the progress bar hit about 80%, it just stayed there for a long time without moving at all; I even marked the spot with tape to keep track. Is this typical behavior in DFU mode, and how long should the whole process usually take?

It's usually fine to let it finish, but if the progress bar gets stuck for too long, it could be an issue. Make sure you're using a good quality cable and don't unplug anything or interact with the devices while the restore is in progress. Just be patient and see if it continues. If it throws an error, you might have to try again or investigate further!

Got it! But how long should I wait before I consider it a problem?
