I'm currently using a 5080 graphics card paired with a 12600K processor in an older build until my new motherboard arrives for my 9800X3D. I've noticed no increase in FPS at 1080p, no matter what settings I try, even with DLSS enabled. Would I get better performance playing at 1080p or 1440p, considering potential bottlenecks?

It sounds like your GPU isn't reaching full utilization at 1080p—likely around 70-75%. You should see some FPS gains at 1080p, but if you're struggling even with those settings, you might as well switch to 1440p, especially if that's your monitor's resolution. Playing at the native resolution is usually ideal.
Remember, lowering the resolution won't help if you're facing a CPU bottleneck. If your CPU caps FPS at a certain point, changing the resolution will put more load on the GPU but won't raise the FPS limit imposed by the CPU.
Just curious, do you already have a 1440p monitor?
Not yet, but I'm getting one tomorrow, which is why I'm asking!

Yeah, at 30-50% utilization, it's not pushing the GPU hard enough to see the benefits. Resolution can make a difference!
